It is imperative to everyone, clothed or unclothed to keep their bodies hydrated. When electrolytes and water are lost it creates dehydration of our body. This occurs by not taking in as much essential fluid, as is expelled through sweat (perspiration), urination and in some cases lung vapors (breathing).
Whether you are a nudist, an out door
enthusiast, an athlete or weekend sport spectator it is mandatory to
keep yourself hydrated. You must drink plenty of water or fluids to
fill your bladder every three to five (3-5) hours. It is important
to consume water, while not replacing it with alcoholic beverages or
drinks that contain large amounts caffeine. If you are indulging in
those types of refreshments, off set the chance of dehydration by
drinking equal parts of water or liquids that replenish electrolytes
and essential vitamins that you are loosing. There are many types of
flavored sports and energy drinks that you can consume to keep your
fluid levels up even under the most extreme conditions of sun
exposure and physical activities. Look into the type of camp, club
or resort that you are visiting and pack accordingly. If you are
camping, it would be wise to pack plenty of water, if you are at a
resort, hydration products including water should be plentiful.
Mild dehydration can be detected early on by
the feeling of dry mouth and the feeling of being thirsty. Your
urine may turn from a light almost clear liquid with little odor to
a darker pigment with a pungent odor. Dehydration can cause
headaches and dizziness. It can cause you to feel tired and in some
cases if the dehydrated person has reason to cry, there may not be
sufficient fluid to produce tears. Symptoms can be quite sever and
should be treated immediately. Seek medical attention if dehydrated
person is not responding to normal hydrating treatments.
Treat yourself to plenty of fluids that keep
your body hydrated. Avoid the symptoms and the dangers of
dehydration, avoid the high cost of medical bills and take care of
your body. Keep bottled water on hand, sip drinks with ice when
practical and indulge in sports drinks when exercising. Before you
go to bed, drink an eight ounce (8oz) glass of water. When you rise
in the morning start your day with another (8oz) glass of water. It
is written that humans should drink six, eight ounce glasses per
day. |
