Have you ever woken from a dream panicked? Perhaps you were perspiring and nervous. You just awoke from a dream that you were in a crowded room and everyone was starring at you. You were naked. You felt humility and shame. You were desperate to cover yourself.
That isn’t a dream. That is a nightmare.
Fully clothed strangers starring at you, violating the privacy of
your personal modesty. Let’s change that nightmare into a daydream.
A daydream is described by the Merriam-Webster Dictionary as: a
vision of something notable for its beauty, excellence or its
enjoyable quality.
It is a lovely day. The sun is brightly
shining and a breeze is gently skipping through the air. You are not
at a mall or a State Fair you are at a Clothing Optional Resort. You
are anxious, a bit nervous but you truly want to feel the freedom of
the sun and wind caressing your bare skin. Behind those doors are
strangers. Unlike your nightmare they too are unclothed. They want
to experience the freedom of nature and delight in the sun warming
their skin.
Clothing optional means just that. Your
clothing is optional. You may cover yourself in a sarong or a towel,
a bathing suit, T-shirt, body paint or sun block. The option is
yours. Clothing optional gives you the freedom to be free of your
clothes. You will be pleased to know once you are inside of the
resort, camp, club or home that the strangers you feared, are people
just like you. Once you are able to see and understand the freedom
of not covering your body that anxious feeling subsides and you feel
free. Imagine the freedom. Freedom from your restricting clothing,
the freedom from tan lines freedom from worrying about what to wear.
You wear what nature intended. You wear your own design the skin you
are in.
Naturist/Nudist enthusiast are not into
unnatural. The idea behind being a nudist or naturist is complete
body acceptance. From the hair on your head to the soul of your foot
you are encouraged to embrace who you are and what you look like.
You are encouraged to love the skin you are in. Although we share a
likeness, we are all very unique.
Once you come to accept your body and you
are comfortable in your skin, there are many rewarding times ahead.
You may enjoy sun bathing or sports. You may be seeking friendship
with others with your interests. The joy of being natural will give
you many opportunities. It will lead you down paths of traveling,
sports, friendships, camping and timeless memories. Look at yourself
through eyes of acceptance. In your mirror see who you are from the
inside out. It is said, no one is perfect, however we are all
perfect in our own way.
Go ahead get back to nature, the way it was
